We work in partnership with a number of departments in delivering services, strategy planning and we receive funding through a contract to deliver Children and Family Centre services. We work with many dedicated practitioners and value the contribution and support we receive from local politicians.
Health Exercise and Nutrition for the Really Young (HENRY) National charity HENRY is running a new parent and family service in Waltham Forest called Best Start. The Best Start service supports families with children aged 0-5 years to provide the best and healthiest start in life for their child. This service covers four key themes:
Infant feeding (breast, bottle and mixed feeding)
Speech & language
If you’re interested in finding out more about how they can help you, the first step is to call them or go along to their next neighbourhood drop-in session. They can identify the best support for your family: for example this could be a place on our Steps to Speaking course, going to a healthy weight workshop, a dental outreach session or a home visit for infant feeding support.
