Waiting list guidance
The Lloyd Park Children’s Charity is taking part in the 30 hours free childcare introduced in September 2017 for working parents whose children are accessing day care services.
The Lloyd Park Centre and Higham Hill Centre waiting lists are currently closed. We may reopen the lists in January 2019. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Once you have visited our nurseries, you may wish to register for a place on our waiting list.
Due to high demand for places, we are unable to guarantee a place or confirm a start date at the time of registration.
When a place becomes available, you will receive a call from our team. If you do not want to take up the place at that point, you will be given a second opportunity to take up a place at another time. If you choose not to accept the place at the second opportunity, you will be taken off the waiting list.
The waiting list is prioritised by date of application, except in the case of children with elder siblings already in attendance at the nursery, or based on ‘in need’ criteria – those children with special educational needs, or looked after children.
We require a non-refundable £15 registration fee for funded places, this adds you to the waiting list for both nurseries should you wish to be on both, payable in person, when you complete the registration form. This helps us cover the cost of managing the waiting list.
Given high demand for daycare places in our area, we always advise parents to explore multiple childcare options.
