Family Support and Outreach Worker Location: Waltham Forest Salary: £31,430 per annum — Fixed Term Contract Hours: 36 hours per week Closing date: Friday 19th June 2026, 12pm Interviews: w/c 29th June 2026 Overview The successful candidate will join our Community Services team and play a key role in delivering a range of services, including: Parenting Programmes Co-production 1:1 Family Support (including home visiting) Targeted group work With Waltham Forest families at the heart of your work, you will collaborate with partners to tackle inequality and promote inclusion, including but not limited to: Early education and child development Health Information and participation Adult education and employment Family support This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate; this is a requirement of the DBS code of practice. Applications are still welcome for 2–5 year places and sessional places. We also run teatime and holiday clubs for primary school aged children.
